If you’re a die-hard LEGO collector, you may already know about Amazon’s Hard-to-Find LEGO Section. If you don’t, allow me to help you empty your savings account.
What Are Hard-to-Find LEGO Sets?
According to Amazon, its Hard-to-Find LEGO section is a curated storefront featuring rare, limited-stock, and soon-to-be-retired sets. It highlights highly sought-after collaborations (like Star Wars), Creator Expert builds, and exclusive items, allowing collectors to purchase them at standard retail prices before they hit the secondary market (BrickLink, eBay, etc.).
LEGO Star Wars Death Star Building Set

This absolutely massive LEGO set–the largest Star Wars set to date–depicting the Death Star from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope might just be the ultimate addition to any Star Wars LEGO collection. With 38 minifigures you can easily recreate scenes from the film including the crushing trash compactor, Princess Leia’s holding cell, hangar control room, tractor beam control unit, Emperor Palpatine’s throne room, hangar bay with Imperial Shuttle, Superlaser and more.
Multiple versions of key characters are included: Luke Skywalker (Jedi and Stormtrooper versions), Han Solo (2 versions), Princess Leia, Chewbacca and Darth Vader, plus 2 LEGO droid figures.

Building the gigantic 9,023-piece model measuring over 27.5 in. (70 cm) high, 31 in. (79 cm) wide and 10.5 in. (27 cm) deep, can be built using the LEGO builder app, allowing you to rotate and zoom in for easier building and to track your progress. You can even save your other sets in-app.
Get it Before Its Gone
As meantioned earlier, Hard-to-Find sets are only available for a limited time before they hit the secondary market and command an even higher price. And with the Death Star set already priced at $999, if you’re even thinking about it, you might as well pull the trigger now before it’s too late!
