Ending a beloved television series in a way that ties up loose ends without being a checklist slog while also saying goodbye to our favorite characters in an emotionally satisfying way is difficult. Very difficult. Let’s take a look at some of the best – and worst – finales in television history.

Well, we did it, gang – we painstakingly made it through all eight episodes of Alien: Earth. My opinion of the first four episodes can be copied and pasted into my opinion of the last four episodes, so there is no reason to recap my hatred.

Terrarium channels the spirit of classic Trek with a grittier twist, pairing a human and a Gorn in an unlikely survival story. It expands the Gorn arc with intriguing parallels, though the ending leaves some questions unresolved.
If you enjoy tactical isekai anime with a focus on world-building and political maneuvering, then Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra may be worth a watch.
Right from the title, Four-and-a-Half Vulcans, we know this is a gimmick episode. Just go with it.
